Calvary Catholic Cemetery was consecrated in 1859. Located on the north shore lakefront in Evanston, it borders Chicago.. It is the burial place of Mayors, Governors, many public figures and thousands of Irish immigrants. This cemetery also supervises Saint Henry and Saint Boniface in Chicago, Saint Peter Cemetery in Skokie and Saint Joseph Cemetery in Wilmette.
